Ronald Mahler is the recipient of the 2005 IEEE AESS Harry Rowe Mimno Award, the 2007 Joseph Mignogna Data Fusion Award, and the 2007 IEEE AESS M. Barry Carlton Award.  He has been listed since 2010 in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World.
 
His papers, Multitarget tracking via first-order multitarget moments and PHD filters of higher order in target number are, respectively, the 1st- (with over 1000 citations) and 4th-most cited papers published over the last decade in IEEE Trans. Aerospace & Electronic Sys.
 
His most recent books are Statistical Multisource-Multitarget Information Fusion (Artech House, 2007)  and Advances in Statistical Multisource-Multitarget Information Fusion (Artech House, 2014).
